的 研究生 Executive Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Associate Provost for 研究生 Studies and 研究 on issues of graduate curriculum; policies and procedures affecting graduate recruitment, 招生, 进展, 保留, and graduation; the graduate student research symposium; thesis and dissertation guidelines; graduate assistantships; graduate faculty status; and other graduate-related issues. 副教务长与教务长合作，监督和协调所有研究生水平的教育项目, 部门主管, 研究生项目主任, 以及研究生执行委员会，从而向教务长和学术事务副校长提出建议.

Committee membership is composed of the following: one graduate faculty representative from each department that offers a graduate degree program; one graduate faculty member to represent all affiliated departments (affiliated departments are those areas that teach graduate courses but do not offer graduate programs); and two at-large members.  研究生执行委员会的所有成员必须保持当前的研究生教员身份.  该委员会每学年举行一次会议，审查课程改革的建议, 新增或修订课程, 或者与研究生课程相关的新学位. 经批准的提案在提交给教职员参议院执行委员会之前，将提交给学术委员会进行审查.
